Resident Evil 3 1999 Steam crashing

Hello there.
All cheats aren't working except unlimited health. Which is fine and it does help a lot. But it is making the game to crash . The crash is triggered by random events.It crashed: 1- once when a cut scene/movie started. 2- crashed when a zombie attacked the character 3- crashed when loading other sections of the map while walking with the character.
So it seems it is random.
I'm using the Rebirth mod.
OBS: Resident Evil 2 1998 with Rebirth mod worked fine with the unlimited health cheat from Wand. I have beaten the game with no crashes at all.
Could you guys see if you can fix these crashes or any tips on how I could avoid these crashes?
