The Last of Us 2 crashing with any MOD as of today

@hard nest I purchased the game on Steam. I am not using any other MODs other than Wand. I am playing single player. There is no error messages - it just shuts the game down. All mods are now doing this as of yesterday

Hey there, sorry to hear you're having trouble! To help us look into this, a couple of quick questions has this trainer worked for you before, or is this your first time trying it? And could you confirm whether you purchased the game through Steam?

Hi @glad sinew, Yes the trainer has been working fine for months and ive been using the same MODS throughout. All was fine up until yesterday where now if Wand is running it crashes the game - the game doesn't crash when Wand is not running Mods.

Thanks for that information @dry copper, Could you confirm the latest version is being applied? If it is try switching to the previous one and see if the issues persists. If it does load in correctly, try switching back and see if the latest version still crashes.

Hi @glad sinew, Thank you for your help, we are now working again! Just so you know what I did for future reference I went back to the previous version dated 09/04/2025 and all is now working. I can only assume there is an issue with the latest version

Unfortunately now it wont allow me to click play on the latest version however it works on the version dated 09/04/2025

If you have not tried to perform a clean reinstall yet please feel free to follow these instructions

Reinstall

1. Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall Wand.
2. Find and delete these folders:
   -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\Wand
   -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\Wand
3. Restart your PC.
4. Reinstall Wand by downloading from: https://wand.com/download
