It crashes a few seconds after I press the play button.

I bought it on Steam.
I'm not using any mods.
I'm playing in single-player mode.
No error message is displayed.
When I press the play button with no mod options enabled, the game crashes a few seconds later.

Is Reshade considered a mod?

Wand isn't really designed to run alongside third-party mods even for Reshade, so conflicts like this are expected. Try launching the game without this being active and see if Wand works normally from there.
