Are the mods in MHS 3 breaking the saves? Because when I try to save it will work until I go to save again, it then will delete the most recent autosave and manual save made. Getting an error code and then the saves are removed. Or is it the kind the thing where you should wait till a specific part in the game before modding?

please follow the steps below carefully:

Step 1: Clean Reinstall Wand

1. Uninstall Wand via Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall Wand.
2. Delete the following folders:
   -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\Wand
   -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp
   -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\Wand
3. Restart your PC
4. Reinstall Wand by downloading it from: https://wand.com/download

Step 2: Verify Game Files on Steam:

1. Go to your Library.
2. Right-click the game and select Properties.
3. Go to Installed Files.
4. Click Verify integrity of game files.

Step 3: Launch Order

1. Set Steam to Offline Mode
2. Launch the game directly from Steam
3. Wait until the game fully loads and you can move around in the game world
4. Once in-game, open Wand and click PLAY to activate the mods

I actually figured out the problem, the game has a cap on items that doesn't let them exceed 1000 per item. so when you cross that threshold the game wont save no matter what. i lowered it to 500 per item and it works perfectly fine. if anything you guys just need to add a warning on the item mods letting people know not to exceed 1000 per item.
