STS2 Mods not working via launch

everytime i launch from the app/program it gets to the MegaCrit logo and then a pop up occurs stating it has to restart and that it will close.. but this is on every launch and it wont load.. even after letting it "load" for aboutr 40 minutes while cooking up lunch. ive tried everything the assitant suggests is this known or is something wrong on my end
