#Enabling mods on far cry 3 destroyed my save file

I enabled mods for far cry 3, and the game instantly crashed. Upon loading the game back, even without wand open and after a pc restart, i crash soon after i load into the game.

Reinstall
  1. Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall Wand.
  2. Find and delete these folders:
    -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\Wand
    -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\Wand
  3. Restart your PC.
  4. Reinstall Wand by downloading from: https://wand.com/download

No, i'll try that now. but my game file is still bricked even without wand being open, i'll have to start a new game.

Hmm, I would also recommend checking if your windows is updated - otherwise, you may try doing a windows repair. Please see instructions below:

Running Windows Update to make sure your system is fully up to date
Using the built-in System File Checker (SFC) to scan and repair corrupted system files
Running the DISM tool to repair Windows image issues
Checking the drive where your games are installed for errors
