Can`t install Wand #support | Wand (WeMod) | Page 1

Hi, I had to reinstall my computer due to some issues with a couple of drivers, but now when I try to install Wand, the blue loading circle spins for a few seconds and the installation doesn’t start. I’ve also tried disabling the antivirus, but it didn’t help. 😄

Hi @bold umbra, try running Wand-Setup.exe as Administrator before installing it.

Can you try redownloading the client again here? https://wand.com/download/direct

Also please let us know if you see any error popups during installation.

I'm having the same problem. Did everything @bold umbra did but also still nothing happens and doesn't even pop up with a error code.

See if your drivers are the same version, see if your drivers are updated, see if you don’t have 2 drivers installed. The issue is likely them as the issue started when you fixed the issues with them

@bold umbra @gloomy scaffold I've got it working now. What I did was follow this. Specifically deleting previous folders in AppData roaming and AppData local.

I had no idea I had Wand folders in my appdata roaming. I even had a Wemod folder from before the name change in there

Reinstall

Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall Wand.
Find and delete these folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\Wand
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\Wand
Restart your PC.
Reinstall Wand by downloading from: https://wand.com/download

Hey Tetedany, it sounds like something on your PC is blocking the installer from running usually Windows Defender or sometimes your browser. Have you tried downloading it using a different browser, and then running the installer as Administrator?

Are you running an unactivated, free or pirated Windows install, or a properly licensed/activated Premium copy?
