Followed Channels Not Posting

Hi there, a few channels I've followed seems to have stopped last year sometime? Maybe new staff or something aren't sure of the protocol, requirements of posting in 'followed channels'?

Hi @pallid charm! Posts are usually closed once the issue has been resolved or when the discussion has naturally slowed down. It helps keep things organized and focused on active topics.

If you’ve got something new to add to a post you followed, feel free to jump in. A new reply can reopen the discussion if needed.

Hi... pardon? I am referring to followed channels not threads in support (title should be self-explanatory)

ie: #📢┃product-updates and so on

since you may not be aware, firstly, no am not 'following too many' (as discord won't let you) secondly, I have re-added them a while ago since the 'name change' neither worked

Protocol After posting a message in the announcement channel, you'll see the Publish option appear. Press Publish to share the message with all servers following your announcement channel.

For followed channels like #📢┃product-updates, those only update when there’s something new to announce. If it looks like they’ve been quiet, it just means there haven’t been new updates to post yet, not a staffing or protocol issue.

Some feeds like #📣┃supported-games-feed more frequently because they’re tied to active releases. Others will post only when there’s a specific announcement.

Feel free to keep following them, and you’ll see new posts as soon as there’s something to share.

no.... I have stated it's been a while now, since last year

I know, as already stated I need to forward it myself for the 'weekly updates'.. as for #📣┃supported-games-feed that has also not fired in my server since adding it last year

Ahhhh.. Well, if you’ve already re followed the channel and it’s still not showing properly on your end, it might be a Discord side issue.

I just tested it on my end and it’s working, at least on mobile.

just tested, as in adding it? that I have done.. in more than 1 server.. I have 3 that I added it to, not getting any messages since though.

You don't seem to understand the question, and I am just repeating myself.. so maybe leave it for someone who 'processes' makes the posts in those channels..

Hey Zaeon, it's my mistake not checking the box to make sure these announcements are broadcast to any servers/channels following these announcement channels. I'll make sure to do that from now on!

I know bots can be a bother, and figured things may have changed throughout the wemod>wand changes.. Have managed my own bots from time to time

Just checked, It hasn't worked as yet.. I have 3 servers that I've added about 3 or your channels, including #📣┃supported-games-feed and most have not got a post since I came by to try and work out what happened last year..

End of October and November it seems, none since. So re-added back then, and tried again in January.. (wondering if when you added brackets to your server name had anything to do with it.. it may be worth connecting with Discord Devs?)

Posts in that chat are no longer done by a bot and just done by a webhook. We would have to manually publish every post in there.
