Hi! Can you give it a clean reinstall? Just follow the steps below.
- Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall Wand.
- Find and delete these folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\Wand
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\Wand - Restart your PC.
- Reinstall Wand by downloading from: https://wand.com/download
Also, if you find any WeMod related folders, please delete them too.
@stuck blade So i did all that and not its just no loading up
To confirm: have you tried redownloading the app thru wand.com?
yes I redownload the app from https://wand.com/download
and when it downloads i cant open it
It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Wand
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Wand
Have you already tried deactivating the AV? If not yet, please follow this.
My computer knowledge isn't the best, but like, what I'm getting from that is you want me to press Windows & R and type in that, right?
May I ask what's firewall/antivirus or security software you have?
umm I think I just have the default one, from like when you first get Windows.
Yea i think its the default one
Windows Defender (Microsoft Defender Antivirus)
Open Settings
Press Windows + I to open the Settings app.
Navigate to Security Settings
Go to Update & Security → Windows Security.
Open Virus & Threat Protection Settings
Click Virus & threat protection.
Under Virus & threat protection settings, click Manage settings.
Add an Exclusion
Scroll to Exclusions and click Add or remove exclusions.
Click Add an exclusion → Choose File, Folder, File type, or Process.
Select the file/folder you want to exclude.
If reinstalling the app, adding it as an exception in your antivirus, and testing with a VPN do not resolve the issue, our ability to assist further is unfortunately quite limited. Problems like this are typically isolated to a user’s Windows configuration blocking trainer downloads.
As additional steps, you might consider creating a new Windows profile, performing a Windows reinstall, or continuing to use a VPN if that showed any improvement.
