#Wand refusing to open

I am not tech savvy at all, so I'm hoping this is something simple I've messed up? I tried opening it, opening it as administrator, even using my task manager to force open, then i uninstalled EVERYTHING, restarted my computer, reinstalled, and tried all three again. Other apps work and open on my computer, its just Wand that won't start.

I have the same. this morning it still worked, this evening nothing. I already checked if Avast is again blocking the app, but all my exceptions are still in place

I finally got it working by:

  • uninstalling wand through windows uninstall
  • deleting all files from 'C:\Users\<me>\AppData\Local\Wand'
  • deleting all files from 'C:\Users\<me>\AppData\Local\Wemod'
  • deleting all files from 'C:\Users\<me>\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp'
    then running the installer again.
