I have the game both on steam and ea app and with steam it requires ea app anyway.

I try in single player campaing and I increase the money in the app before I purchase something or I go to the garage and it doesn't change.

Once it just crashed.

No, if you're using it through Steam, just set Steam to Offline Mode same goes for EA.
