so i was figuring how steam and app functions and i couldn't figure out how to start a steam app without going through the start up prompt, however when i use wand it doesn't show but still seeing as playing on steam.

Hey Unknownusername, thanks for the post I think I get what you mean.

Steam can show different “launch prompts” depending on how a game is started (for example: a Steam launch dialog, a launcher selection, or a first-time setup window). When you click Play in Wand, we’re still launching your Steam game through its normal Steam install/licensing, but the game may be started in a way that bypasses certain UI prompts (or those prompts may not appear if Steam is already running/logged in and the game is configured to auto-launch the default option). That’s why you still appear as playing on Steam.

Just to make sure I’m addressing the right thing: which “startup prompt” are you referring to exactly (Steam’s “Preparing to launch…”, a launcher window, DX11/DX12 selection, etc.) and what game is it?
