Hey there, can you answer the questions below?
To assist you better, could you please share a few details? Feel free to skip a question if you've already shared the info.
-Where did you purchase the game?
-Are you using any other mods alongside Wand?
-Are you playing in single-player or multiplayer mode?
-Do you see any error messages?
-Which specific mod options aren’t working for you?
steam, direct x12 followed notes no other mods. Single player no GOTY edition. All mods don’t work except ignore crafting restrictions. It’s a fault on your side not mine. Checked through reddit post awhile back. Other support channels created by others here. All naming same issue no fix.
@formal snow
I'd like to confirm one thing first—are you able to toggle the mods on, but they simply don't have any effect in-game?
If so, Please try the following launch methods:
Method A: Launch game first, then activate mods
a) Launch your game normally b) Wait until you can move around freely in the game world c) Once you're fully in-game, alt-tab back to Wand and click PLAY to load the mods
Method B: Load mods at the main menu
a) Launch your game normally b) Stop at the main menu (don't load into gameplay yet) c) Go to Wand and click PLAY to load the mods d) Then start your save or continue your gameplay
These two launch methods usually resolve issues where mods activate but have no effect in-game.
Please let me know what happens after you try these steps, and we'll go from there!
Tried didn’t work. The mods don’t even turn on. They get toggled then toggled off instantly
Are you running Witcher 3 on DX12? The Witcher 3 (non GOTY) mods only work with DX12.
You can add this to your Steam Launch Options to force the game to run on DX12:
Right-click Game ⮕ Properties ⮕ Launch Options
Paste this exactly: -dx12
yes i am playing dx12
Thanks for answering! Is the Wand app detecting your game automatically, or did you manually add the exe file on the Wand app?
If you ever did add the app manually like illustrated below, please unlink it and let Wand detect it on its own. Check if this makes it work.
If Wand detects it automatically and is still acting up like this, please let me know so I can move forward to the next step.
automatically connected
Thanks for confirming, @hidden canopy ! I will now forward this case to our testing team so they can look into the issue. I'll get back to you as soon as they give me an update.
thank you
tell me when its fixed ping.
