Hi! Is it your friend’s first time using Wand, or were they able to use WeMod in the past? If possible, could they share a screenshot of what they’re seeing? They can also try reinstalling the app by following the steps below.
- Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall Wand.
- Find and delete these folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\Wand
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\Wand - Restart your PC.
- Reinstall Wand by downloading from: https://wand.com/download

They started using it recently and the switch to use any mods were grayed out.
Do you happen to know which game they’re trying to play and where it was purchased from? Also, if they’re able to join us here, it might make things a bit easier to help them out. 
I'm having a similar problem, because whenever I try to use Wand, it simply closes as soon as I click "Play," without displaying any error message.
I was without a computer for a while, I got back today and, while testing it with some games, I encountered this problem.
I had my friend send 6 screen shots, but it's the same with every game the app allows to mod. Each mod is grayed out.
got it. so, @cobalt ingot was your friend? I noticed on the screenshots that he hasn't clicked Play which is why the options are grayed out. Click Play first and then wait until the game is fully loaded then try turning on the mods.
