Hi! Try verifying the game files on Steam first, then close Steam and Wand completely and open them again. If Wand still doesn’t recognize the game after restarting, you can add it manually by linking the game’s .exe.
Sorry I wasn't clear I am able to select the classic and definite edition but when i press play it says game not found but i am able to launch the launcher though wand so wand knows i have the game installed but wont detect the game after i launch through the launcher
Have you tried launching the game on Steam first? Wait until the game has fully loaded, and once you can move your character in-game, alt-tab back to the Wand app and click Play.
originally that is how I tried launching wand, by launching the game first from Steam, then hitting the play button. However I am getting the same error I originally posted.
I have also tried it how @iron holly suggested, both times provide the same error... its very weird...
Ive tried both ways to launch via wand and via steam and no luckk
Hey sinster, can you confirm you have both the Classic and Definitive versions installed through Steam?
Also, could you share the Build ID for each one? You can find it in Steam under Library → (right-click the game) Properties → Updates → Build ID (same spot as in my screenshot).
I got it to work after finishing the tutorial level not sure what was done different, but thank you very much for the help.
