when your playing story missions and using one hit kills it bugs you out on missions

i was playing with one hit kills , and playing this mission to destroy a generator it did , but my custence is not going or my objective isnt moving forward, when i turn it off and played it worked.

missions are not going through with game speed i play on 2.5x
cut scenes not registering , objectives not going through its like basically your stuck in a mision

the dlc "secrets of spires" in that last mission none of the trainer options works in order to complete it.
you have to completely turn off the trainer in order to even complete the last part of the mission.

Some options doesn't work in the from the ashes dlc.
Mainly one hit kills.
