#Wand crashing

Please try the following launch methods:
Method A: Launch game first, then activate mods
a) Launch your game normallyb) Wait until you can move around freely in the game worldc) Once you're fully in-game, alt-tab back to Wand and click PLAY to load the mods
Method B: Load mods at the main menu
a) Launch your game normallyb) Stop at the main menu (don't load into gameplay yet)c) Go to Wand and click PLAY to load the modsd) Then start your save or continue your gameplay
These two launch methods usually resolve issues where mods activate but have no effect in-game.
Please let me know what happens after you try these steps, and we'll go from there!
Method B doesn't work, I've tried it, but I haven't tried method A yet
Method A didn't worked either. It just keeps crashing
Hi @placid phoenix, if you haven't yet, please try whitelisting or adding exceptions on your antivirus for the following folders:
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Wand
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Wand
Also, please make sure that you are running the latest version of the Wand app. Just click your Username > Settings and it should be on the lower left corner of the screen.
This didn't worked either. I added both folders in exceptions in my antivirus and I'm running latest version of Wand, but it didn't changed anything
I also tried launching different game, but the result was the same
Disable the New Wand Overlay
a) Open the Wand app
b) Click on Settings
c) Go to the Customization tab
d) Find the option "Enable New Wand Overlay"
e) Turn this option OFF (disable it)
After completing both steps, please test Wand again and let us know if the issue is resolved.
If you continue to experience problems, feel free to reach out with any error messages or additional details.
Thank you. This method worked, it's finally working properly
