#ALL Mods for Civilization V (Steam) not working

"Started Civ V (v. 1.0.3.279) with Steam Launcher. Sometimes, WeMod (Wand) would freeze after clicking Play. Some of the freezes required ending it in Task Manager. If Wand loads successfully without freezing, NONE of the mods would work. In 100% of Wand loading successfully, it was launched with Admin privileges. Played in SOLO only (this is obvious) - I never play multiplayer."

Submitted the same thing in the Wand troubleshooting bot. Wand version is 12.4.0.

Addendum: I forgot to mention the specific behavior of "mod not working". In other games, a mod with an issue would momentarily turn on then turn off. For this one, the mod switch remains on but nothing happens in the game.

Your antivirus software may be causing interference with Wand. Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Whitelist Wand folders in your antivirus
a) Open your antivirus software
b) Navigate to the Exceptions, Exclusions, or Whitelist section (wording may vary depending on your antivirus program)
c) Add the following two folders:

C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Wand
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Wand

d) Save and apply the changes in your antivirus settings

Step 2: Disable the New Wand Overlay
a) Open the Wand app
b) Click on Settings
c) Go to the Customization tab
d) Find the option "Enable New Wand Overlay"
e) Turn this option OFF (disable it)

After completing both steps, please test Wand again and let us know if the issue is resolved.

But it's also weird in your report that it says I am using Windows OS version 10... but I'm actually using Windows 11...

Also, I am planning to just let you guys close this ticket... I am okay using Cheat Engine. It's working perfectly. I have correspondence with an "Eric" from your team through my email - that's probably response to my report using your Support Assistant inside Wand.

And like I told Eric, I am using a table called "CivV_and_CivV_GaK_and_NW_v1-0-3-279_Steam_S31_T20.ct" and it works well. In our last correspondence, Eric asked if I was using any mods on Civ V and I'll tell you what I told him - no. I have Civ V vanilla... no DLCs, no expansions, no mods, nothing... just pure original Civ V.
