Hi, I am unable to launch mods after launching the game directly through steam for some reason. If the .exe is added it launches but directly from Ubisoft and it skips Steam.

i also get the "The game must be launched outside of Wand before pressing play" error whenever the game is already opened directly through Steam and i try to press play on Wand.

yes, when I add the .exe from the steamapps folder it opens normally when trying to launch through wand since it skips Steam
assuming theres some problem with Steam or something
worked fine today until Far Cry crashed and then it started doing this
tried reinstall Wand and Far Cry twice now, did not help
now i keep getting this when i click play on Steam, not through Wand
after removing the .exe from Wand
the game is running
also, not that big of an issue tbh but i play through Steam since im currently achievement hunting and i dont think it will sync achievements after playing directly through Ubisoft

i managed to fix it, was a user error. I switched to DX 9 today since thats what i found out was helping with minimizing crashes and after that it wasnt being recognized by Wand as a running game. Switched back to DX 11 rn and it mods are up and running 😃
