#Overlay not working in Enshrouded

Good evening, for the past two days I have been unable to use the in-game overlay on Enshrouded. I had no issues before, but for the past two days it has been impossible.

The mods work otherwise, except for item duplication, which also has issues, but TP is impossible if you don't go through the Overlay.

I have already checked the game files and uninstalled Wand without success.

Reinstall
  1. Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall Wand.
  2. Find and delete these folders:
    -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\Wand
    -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\Wand
  3. Restart your PC.
  4. Reinstall Wand by downloading from: https://wand.com/download

It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:

C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Wand
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Wand

Any recent changes to your game or pc?

No changes except for the Enshrouded updates; it was working perfectly, and then suddenly I couldn't open the overlay. I tried changing the shortcut, but it didn't work.

So I'm not entirely sure, but I recently changed monitors, though I couldn't say for sure if I had the overlay on the new one.

I went from a 27" 1440p monitor to a 32" 2160p monitor.

I'm using 3840x2160 resolution and no, it doesn't change when I launch the game; the resolution is correctly set.

Hello how are you ?

The overlay works perfectly on Borderlands 4, I have the Pop up which tells me to activate the overlay with Alt+W and it opensbut Enshrouded non

Does the pc act like you are turning on an overlay ever or just nothing appears? For example the screen will dim and the mouse curser shows but nothing loads in? We have thoroughly tested this on our end and can't replicate these problems.

I’d also recommend trying a clean reinstall of the app again, Be sure to check that all your drivers are up to date consider doing a clean install of them as well. You can also try disabling any third-party overlays, as they can sometimes cause conflicts.

As the video shows, nothing happens.

I don't even get the little pop-up when I press Alt+W to open the overlay, unlike in Borderlands 4 where the pop-up works and the Alt+W action works perfectly.

Unfortunately, this issue appears to be isolated to your PC. We've tested the trainer and overlay on several different systems without any problems. If reinstalling both the game and the app hasn’t helped, it's likely that something on your PC such as background software or system settings is interfering with the process.

It's true that I tried it on my second computer and the overlay works. I'll try reinstalling the game this time to see what happens.

But what I don't understand is why, after uninstalling the game + wand and deleting all the caches + residual files and reinstalling everything, it still doesn't work, whereas with other games there's no problem.
