the other day i got given a gift code from the wand/wemod app for 3 months of discord nitro from being a subscriber for 6 months and when i try to redeem it it says "invalid subscrition" Im unsure if its because i already have nito or not also there isnt really a tag for this type of issue

Yes it is because you currently have or had a subscription. The codes can only be used on accounts that have not had Nitro.
