When I tried to access WeMod I discovered it has changed to Wand. I tried making an account and it said my e-mail was already registered, so I tried my WeMod username and password. An error said current password is incorrect. ok, then let's try change password. Got the reset e-mail and tried a new one. It had a box that had my user name, e-mail address and a password filled with dots. Under that a button to proceed or something, can't remember what it actually said. There was also a box that had a line that had dots like in the login's box for I assume was the password they were useing for a temp password, an area below that said New Password. So I entered a new password and hit enter. red letters saying "current password incorrect" ????? Okaayy?
Let's try this again, and again.. , and again??. Same results every time. went to support and couldn't find a way to chat with them, so as a last resort came here to try and get some insight. Please?😩

@drowsy hedge With the reinstalling steps look for any wemod folders laying around as well, You do not need to create a new account if you had one previously on our old name wemod.
ok. So I should delete the WeMod folder AND the Wand folder AND those AppData folders on the Wand app I just installed?

I am Baacckk... Patrick I have deleted and re downloaded Wand and just deleted WeMod totally. restarted Wand and entered my old WeMod credentials and got the username / password incorrect error. I then clicked on the forgot password, got the reset email and now have a RESET PASSWORD page. it has a bar with dots on it and a bar that says Confirm new password on it. I assume the bar with the dots is a temp password so I just need to type the new password in and hit the reset button. correct?

Yeah so that is your old password that you had saved through the browser, You can use that one or just re-enter the new password on both lines.
Once that's done, give the system a minute to register the change, then try signing in using either your username or email.
That may be what was going wrong before. I wasn't putting the new password into the top bar with the dots and just putting in the new password on the bottom bar only. Let's see what happens.
