I already told it screenshake, but i think everyone should see what i think about it and what i would like to change [Message is just copy paste]

Okay, let's get started.

Website: In principle, I think the design is very nice. Very modern and simple, the features are easy to recognize, well described, and numerous. The most important things you have to offer are clearly visible. Not too many buttons, not too many things that could distract. Very nice.

Color scheme: I don't really like the combination of green/neon green and yellow. It's too bright and stands out too much compared to the rest. I've attached a few color combinations that I've been playing around with and think would work well. These are as follows: 1. Mythical violet and dark blue 2. Warm orange and dark gray/black gray 3. Earthy green and sand beige 4. Deep burgundy red and muted gold. These colors are not too bright and blend perfectly with the images and text; they are not so stark and bright that they stand out. [I was able to edit and create a few things myself, but for others, the AI had to help out a bit to show how I would imagine it ^^]

The app: Not much has changed at the moment, but what has changed is great. The new interface for the individual games is very clear, compact, and attractive. There aren't so many things to click on anymore [like the AI help], but everything is easy to see. There's also a button to go back, which is great. What I would like to see is for the map not to redirect to a new tab, but to open up a little so that you can still stay on the trainer page for the selected game.

The new name: I think it's okay, nothing crazy but not bad either. I only see one problem when it comes to languages. I'm German and here the word “Wand” has a very important meaning. “Wand” means wall here. So if I only search for ‘Wand’ in German, I'll never find your website [screen shot included]. Even searching directly for “Wand Trainer” in German leads to training equipment for walls rather than your trainer page [I only know this in German, but maybe it's similar in other languages].

Long story short: I would tweak the name a little, or somehow link certain keybinds to Google search so that you can be found more easily for other languages. I would adjust the color scheme a little or make it darker, and I would make the map in the app itself foldable instead of always redirecting the user to a new page, only to have them use the buttons at the bottom to come back [and then switch back and forth over and over again].

All the rebranding did was take me by surprise, as long as it doesn't go down the path of corporation corruption, I don't care what they rename themselves. As long as they still feel like WeMod.

I think your problem with looking it up is because it's brand new and not yet considered a popular domain so google doesn't recommended at the top yet

I'm using WeMod for several years - also the Pro version for a longer time.
And I like it - just because of the functionality and the several mods/cheats you provide for most games - so that's for me the main focus of this tool.
So, new web appearance, new colors - all fine.
But I'm also german speaking - and "WAND" is a wall in german - but not a suitable name for this tool - sorry guys, that's really a meaningless name for german speakers. WeMod was a synonym for that, what it is - a tool from a community ("We") for modding/cheating games ("Mod") - but the new name you should rethink.
That's my personal opinion - yes I will use it anyway, but I wanted to tell you that 😎

Alot of people in the server are accusing the team and support of being AI and bots. I've had moments where I've stressed them, I admit. But I don't appreciate when other members go around and accuse the team and support of being AI and bots.

#

People don't know what the consquences false accusations can cause. And most of them have led to disaster.

I don't see how that's relevant to this discussion

waxen spire
#

It's sparked all from the Rebranding.

There's going to be outrage for sure and it's gonna stick for a while but your comment is not exactly relevant to this discussion

As I said, I was caught by surprise at the rebranding but as long as it still functions like WeMod, I don't care what they name their brand.

I do agree with you though, people shouldn't go throwing accusations without substantial evidence

I like the clean new look but I would love to be able to disable the clips tab as I will never use that in my life and it's cluttering the interface

weird ass name, ngl. I liked the old one better and will contuine to call it WeMod lol, since i'v been using the Pro version for years on end.. I dont wanna play SP games w/o WeMod anymore if they make stuff to grindy for NO reason or waste my time kinda BS. So it has been a blessing. If all still functions the exact same as before without compromising accounts/risk of banned etc its all good.

Maybe just work on the responses so they arent read off of a script and that'll be a start

Name is ok,
Give instructions on how to use it fully. Interactive maps are silly as games already have maps

Preferred old colour scheme

Other than that, well it lets me cheat. I am chilled

I'm torn. I get what you're targeting with the name wand but at the same time a rebrand of this nature for the niche you're filling, it just doesn't sit perfectly. WeMod is a mainstay. I know just from the name what I'm using the product for. I use it fairly religiously and have been a pro user for at least a few years at this point.

Ultimately, I will still use the product no matter the name change. I want something that continues to offer the normal functionality that WeMod brought to the table. I don't need clips or niche things like that. Map teleport is awesome though and I have and will continue to enjoy the way mods are implemented. I do think the focus on a rebrand isn't necessarily the best place to spend time, effort and money though. Really sit back and think about why WeMod wasn't working as a name. Is it something tied to someone who is no longer a part of the team? Did it somehow have a negative connotation to people I don't see that perspective of? If it is just to change it "because" then instead of focusing on rebranding, focus on improving map teleport, or the overall interface, revamping the game nomination process for getting mods, things like that. Being that pro users money is being spent on this endeavor, spend it where it counts not where someone is trying to make a name for themselves with a rebrand.

Hey everyone! Really appreciate the thoughtful feedback. @winter monolith - those color explorations are v. cool! peepoBlushWizard peepowand
On the rebrand:
Over the years, we've added features that go beyond just mods. We wanted a name that better represents what we actually do and where we're headed - while keeping our focus on game customizations (we know that's what a lot of you are here for). More details in the blog post if you haven't seen it!
On the SEO concerns for German speakers: we have a great team who spent a lot of time thinking through this. We feel confident in our approach, but appreciate the concern.

On colors:
Thanks for the suggestions and mockups - super helpful. I get these colors aren't everyone's taste. What I can say is usability and accessibility are priorities for the core product, and we won't let opinionated brand choices affect that. Our web presence needs a different approach than the product itself.
That said, I'm personally into the Dune color scheme and will see if we can work it in somewhere 😄 Also, this isn't set in stone - brand systems evolve, and we'll learn from how people use Wand.

On UI/UX:
Clips tab: We're exploring more customizability for the game page. Stay tuned pepeok
Maps inline view: Aware of the friction. Sharing feedback with the team!
Default tab preferences: On our roadmap! Please share more context about how you'd use this and it'll help us prioritize FrogePray

On priorities:
Simply put - our old brand was limiting how we could communicate what we're building. This wasn't just change for the sake of change, it was about keeping us growing. We're not slowing down on the core stuff.

As always, appreciate all the feedback and your patience.! Please keep it coming FrogePray

Personally, I thought WeMod was fantastic - It spoke for not only the brand, but all of us. It couldn't be more original! However, when it comes to "Wand," - I don't really understand the concept of the name or what it represents. 🤔

Wands make magic. Wand the application lets you break game rules, like magic. It makes perfect sense.
