To assist you better, could you please share a few details? Feel free to skip a question if you've already shared the info.
-Where did you purchase the game?
-Are you using any other mods alongside WeMod?
-Are you playing in single-player or multiplayer mode?
-Do you see any error messages?
-Which specific mod options aren’t working for you?
The game was purchased on Steam. I’m only using WeMod, and it’s for single-player career mode. The error message says: “We’re having trouble loading the mods into your game. Try restarting the game, or pressing Help for more info.” I’ve attached a screenshot.
None of the mods are working — whether I select one or none, I still get the same message. I’ve launched both the game and WeMod as administrator, disabled all my antivirus software, and tried launching the mods before and after starting the game. I think I’ve covered everything.
Hi! Sorry for the late response and thank you for doing all of those troubleshooting steps! Have you tried reinstalling the client? This could sort the problem out for you.
Just follow the steps below.
- Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall WeMod.
- Find and delete these folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod - Restart your PC.
- Reinstall WeMod by downloading from: https://api.wemod.com/client/download
No problem, I’ll do it right away and let you know
I just did what you told me, and it showed that some mods were being updated, but most of the mods were functional. Then it showed the same error message again. So, could it be that because of the current update of the mods, there is a blockage that makes all mods not work or that we can’t play with the mods until the update is done ?
Hey @hearty perch Have you been performing the bypass?
hey @limber yoke, The bypass? I just know that when I launch it, it says “configuring, about 1 minute,” and then I click play.
Is there anything specific I need to do?
Yes, You will need to review the setup instructions and follow the bypass steps.
So, I tried, but there’s a problem — well, just one actually. The game has to be launched through EA, but I can’t, since it’s on Steam. I linked my EA account to Steam, but the game doesn’t show up. I did all the steps to make it appear, but nothing works. I also tried continuing without going through EA, but it still doesn’t work.
Just ignore the EA steps the bypass process is the same for both platforms. Go ahead and launch it through Steam.
It doesn’t work.
Did you unzip(extract) the folder first before trying to take anything out of it?
Then copy it to your main directory for the game?
Yes, I unzipped it and then put the unzipped folder into the game’s directory.
Unless it’s just the bypass and not the whole folder?
the bypass.exe needs to be on that page
Ah, it’s working perfectly now. Thank you for your time and for the help you provided. Have a great evening!
Great to hear thanks for letting us know, Enjoy!
