when i turn it on it just turns itself off with the same sound effect that used to play when youre running out of the 2 hour time limit

Try disabling the Overlay on the WeMod app by clicking the mod setting and check if the mods work now.

Reinstall
  1. Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall WeMod.
  2. Find and delete these folders:
    -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
    -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
  3. Restart your PC.
  4. Reinstall WeMod by downloading from: https://api.wemod.com/client/download
