Elden Ring Seamless Co-op

I am trying to use WeMod on Elden Ring Seamless Coop, but cannot figure out how to make the application recognize the game is running. I've done the troubleshooting recommended by the support bot; turning off anticheat, uninstalling and reinstalling the application, turning off online play etc. As well as manually adding the ERSC exe under the play dropdown, and making a new character.
I have reached out to the ERSC devs/server and it was a dead end there. At this point I just want to know if I am wasting time trying to make it work, and if they are incompatible.
