Out of nowhere on Dying Light The Beast, the overlay is just completely invisible. I have completely uninstalled WeMod and reinstalled, launched both as Admin etc. It's like when I press Alt+W to open the overlay, it works but doesn't show anything on the screen. Started randomly a few days ago so I literally went and did the pro trial just to play with my mods and it's STILL not working.

Marco...?
Hey there. May I know if you are using windowed fullscreen settings?
I tried fullscreen, and windowed borderless.
If you haven't already, please try adding exclusions for these two folders in your antivirus:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod and C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
Ok I will try and let you know!
Still does not work
Reinstall
- Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall WeMod.
- Find and delete these folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod - Restart your PC.
- Reinstall WeMod by downloading from: https://api.wemod.com/client/download
I have already done all of that too.
Do you have other third party overlay enabled?
Just steam and epic games.
At one point after playing for a bit, it showed back up and then after a restart because I had to leave, it stopped again.
Have you tried repairing your windows or killing off any unnecessary programs that offer any other overlay? Like GeForce, OBS, steam overlay, gamebar etc.
Hey patrick! I have the gamebar uninstalled, geforce overlay is off, I don't even open OBS anymore, but I will try turning off the steam overlay and see if that works.
Still no luck 😭
Do you have windows or gpu driver pending update? if so, try to update those softwares and check if issue persists.
Everythings up to date.
Are you currently using windowed fullscreen as your video settings?
I have tried both. Mainly fullscreen
Could you please try the following steps?
Open the WeMod app and disable the Overlay feature.
Restart the WeMod app completely (right-click the tray icon → Exit → reopen).
Once it’s running again, re-enable the Overlay.
Launch your game in exclusive fullscreen mode, then test if the Overlay works properly.
Sometimes the overlay can desync or fail to initialize correctly, and toggling it off/on resets the configuration. Using exclusive fullscreen ensures WeMod hooks correctly into the game.
Let me know how it goes after trying this!
Just got back trying this now!
