#Problems during installation

Hello! May I know if your antivirus is enabled?
I tried it with both variants, switched on and off, both didn't help
It seems Discord might be interfering with the installation. Please fully close Discord by going to Task Manager and ending the Discord task before trying to reinstall WeMod. If the issue persists, please follow these steps:
Uninstall Discord:
- Go to the Control Panel and uninstall Discord.
- After uninstalling, check for any remaining Discord-related files on your PC and delete them.
- Remove Discord from the AppData directory and check the Temp folder for any Squirrel files.
Uninstall WeMod:
1.2Go to the Control Panel and uninstall WeMod.
2. Look for any leftover WeMod-related files on your PC, including in the AppData directory and the Temp folder.
**
Adjust Windows Defender:**
- Delete any files that were previously excluded in Windows 2. Defender.
Temporarily disable Real-time Protection in Windows Defender.
Restart Your PC:
- Restart your computer.
Reinstall WeMod:
- Download the WeMod offline installer from this link.
- Run the installer as an administrator to ensure it has the necessary permissions.
After completing these steps, try reinstalling the WeMod app. Let me know how it goes!
I've now tested it and unfortunately this didn't work either.
Could you provide us the information under OPEN SETUP LOG?
Thank you. Since you already tried uninstalling discord, the next step is to ensure that the wemod app is not running on your background. Kindly go to Task Manager then search for wemod>End task.
Once done, remove any WeMod-related files from your PC. Also, delete WeMod from the AppData directory and Squirrel from the temp folder. Then, restart your computer and attempt to reinstall.
Download and install the WeMod offline installer: https://api.wemod.com/client/download
Then try running the installer as an administrator to give it the necessary permissions. See if it helps.
I did that too, but it still doesn't work.
I don't have a Wemod key because this is the first time I've installed it.
I always delete the squirrel, but it gets recreated.
Gotcha. May I know if you are using a handheld console?
nope win11 Desktop
Do you have any pending windows update or drivers update? If so, we suggest you to update those softwares and check if issue persists.
May I know if the new error message appears when you update your windows?
No, after an Nvidia update.
After that, I uninstalled Discord again and deleted all data.
How about reinstalling wemod app? Have you also tried that?
I have never installed WeMod before.
Oh sorry for the confusion. What I mean is installing the wemod app using the link I provided earlier.
Yes, I tried that too.
Hmmm strange, may I know what Antivirus you're currently using?
Avast But its deaktivated for Downloading an installing
I see. Could you also disable your windows defender, restart your PC, then install the app again?
I've already tried that too, and it didn't work.
