This is intentional. Your friends/teammates will need to download WeMod if they want to boost their XP

WeMod has never supported modding in multiplayer, especially when mods apply to others.

Is there a way that we can do it in private lobbies. I don't want to get a PC just so I can play the game. With skill levels

The mod is working correctly. If your friends want to boost their XP they will need to download WeMod also. We cannot control who it applies to and since there is no way to reset your XP allowing it to apply to everyone is something we can't do.
