I recently used WeMod for AC Shadows and I was trying to have it give me more trait points. I read the thing saying how when you earn the next trait point it will update, however, it didn't work. Instead I gained 20 levels but didn't gain a single trait point from any of those levels.

It looks like the “Edit Total Mastery Points” mod only updates when the game recalculates your mastery points. The value you see in-game is actually the remaining mastery points, not the total. So if you spent more points than the total, the display will just drop to 0 instead of giving you more.

I had 3 mastery points before I tried to give myself more. I didn't spend any of them. Each level up is supposed to give one mastery point and I gained 20 levels and instead on the first level up it went from 3 to 2 and on the second level up it went from 2 to 0 and stayed that way for the remaining 18 levels. I have never used it before so I shouldn't have been able to use more mastery points than I'm supposed to have to cause it to go to 0. I don't understand what's going on.
