I don't like installing software on the C drive. Usually, I create a folder on the D drive specifically for program installation directories—maybe because I'm a programmer? I like to keep things organized.

From what I can remember the installation on the C: drive was to provide the smoothest experience. If the app were installed outside of the AppData folder, it would require admin permission for every update. While you can move the app manually, the next update will automatically reinstall it to AppData.

Normally, this type of software should allow users to choose the installation path and the download path for modifiers. Even though the default is still on Drive C, users can still modify it.
