#PC shutdown issue

I'm in the midst of a modded Total War: Warhammer III game, and I wanted to use the cheats Wemod has for it. However, either when I start to use the trainer at random times, or I try to close Wemod after using the trainer, my entire PC crashes and has to restart.

Hey! Since you’re running a modded Total War: Warhammer III, that’s probably what’s causing the issue. If you have other mods active, Wemod might not be compatible. Try running Wemod on the vanilla version of the game and see if it works there. If it does, then it’s definitely a mod conflict.

Hey @serene grail You’ll want to check your Event Viewer and try running some benchmarks on your PC. When the entire system freezes, that usually points to something beyond just a trainer issue. Keep us posted!

Alright, I reviewed the event logs and located the time of the system crash. It correlates with multiple 1010 Event errors for the Modern Deployment Diagnostics Provider resulting in an Autopilot.dll WIL error. Meanwhile, prior to these errors, Event 10016 was triggered stating that an application trying to access DCOM didn't have sufficient permissions. Could WeMod have tried to access DCOM and it result in multiple Autopilot.dll WIL errors?

Alright I started using it, so far so good.

From what I’ve learned, DCOM is a Windows feature that apps sometimes go through when asking for permissions. WeMod doesn’t directly use DCOM, so those errors are most likely coming from Windows itself rather than from WeMod. The Autopilot.dll errors you mentioned sound more like a system or Windows issue than something WeMod would cause.
