Wemod app not working

Hey, so i have downloaded the app from the official website a couple of times and after the set up has done its work, i try to open the app but all it shows is a transparent or a black screen and i end up ending the task with task manager as it can't be closed in that state for some reason. If anyone can help with this issue that would be awesome!

Hey there, Please try to find and remove any WeMod-related files from your PC. Also, delete WeMod from the AppData directory and Squirrel from the temp folder. Then, restart your computer and attempt to reinstall.

Download and install the WeMod offline installer: https://api.wemod.com/client/download

Then try running the installer as an administrator to give it the necessary permissions. See if it helps.

Sorry this is what popped up when i tried to download fro that link after the setup was downloaded and i ran it as admin, it showed that

And now I reinstalled yet the app does not work

Hey @boreal nexus , This is usually caused by your gpu. If the reinstall doesnt work try this:
Press Win + R, then copy and paste the line below and hit Enter:

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\WeMod\wemod.exe --disable-gpu

This will launch WeMod with GPU acceleration disabled, which should fix the visual glitches.

Its running in the background but it now doesn't show the app anymore nor the blackscreen just nothing at all. Nothing is showing up in the pin bar either

Just tried that but now nothing is displaying after reinstalling

Oops never mind the Black screen is back

So basically sometime it shows the black screen or shows nothing at all while running in the background

At this point, I’d recommend repairing your Windows installation or doing a clean reinstall of your GPU drivers. Unfortunately, the previous steps should have resolved the problem, so this points to a deeper issue with the system setup.

Any advice on how I could fo that? Sorry I just built my first PC so I am new to it

No worries at all! You can reinstall Windows by resetting your PC.

For reinstalling your GPU driver if you’re using an NVIDIA card. You can find the latest driver on the official NVIDIA website. Just make sure the driver you download matches the exact model of your GPU.

Just to make sure do i have to delete the original driver then reinstall it? Also is there anything to save or backup before I do this?

Sorry, I have ran a thorough check on my drivers and windows yet nothing seems out of order or anything that would be a problem. My games are working fine too with no drop in frames or erros in anytime. But the app still will not open

@frosty hollow alright i have come back and I have tried all the troubleshooting options given such as even checking and updating my window files and even command promoting to fix corrupted files if any were there, I have also done the GPU drivers and I've checked their status
