It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
This is what I did first, it doesn't help
Are you on wifi or using a vpn?
If you haven't tried to reinstall either i would suggest trying that as well.
1.Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall WeMod.
2.Find and delete these folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
3.Restart your PC.
4.Reinstall WeMod by downloading from: https://api.wemod.com/client/download
I use vpn, but I'm on a cable connection to the router, but before the latest update of the application itself everything worked
95% of the time, being stuck on loading is caused by your network, PC, or antivirus blocking the download.
Since Baldur’s Gate is such a popular title, if this were a widespread issue we’d be seeing a lot more reports. I’d recommend trying a clean reinstall of WeMod without skipping any of the steps, or testing again while connected through a different VPN location.
the problem is not only with BG3, it is with all games. I will try a full reinstallation of WeMod now
reinstallation didn't help. Tried different VPN servers, tried without VPN - same result
Is there any way I could look at the connection log?
hey! can you restart your pc and check if issue persists?
yes, I tried it
This is noted. May I know what AV software you're currently using?
antivirus? Comodo
Could you try exclude the files including windows defender?
I've already tried doing this too
There is likely something on your antivirus or network blocking the download.
that's why I'm asking, is it possible to somehow remove the trace and check where the blocking is happening?
or logs
Judging by some messages, I'm not the only one with such problems. And here the problem is clearly not in the antivirus
Hey Malfas, The “stuck on loading” issue usually points to a problem between your PC and the network, meaning the trainer isn’t able to load the file properly. I’d recommend temporarily disabling Comodo or trying a VPN to see if that resolves it. Thanks!
I tried to do all this. Before the WeMod update everything worked fine
after the last WeMod update NMS started to launch, other games still don't launch with the mod
When was the last time you cleaned up your PC and drives or did a fresh install? From what you’ve described, it sounds like something on your PC or network might be causing the issues.
I do a cleaning once every six months. I installed fresh drivers last week.
But why did NMS start working after the WeMod update, although it didn't work before?
