WeMod sees my games fine. the play button works. it says playing. options appear to work from WeMod. shortcut keys work. sounds activate like normal. there doesn't appear to be any errors. but it doesn't matter what game i try. the options don't do anything at all. it is like suddenly the entire app is a placebo.
i have already checked things like firewall and anti-virus. and i have tried re-installing WeMod.
any other ideas?

Microsoft Defender. it doesn't show any kind of report about WeMod. but i have it added it to exceptions anyhow.

1.Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall WeMod.
2.Find and delete these folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
3.Restart your PC.
4.Reinstall WeMod by downloading from: https://api.wemod.com/client/download
It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

If neither of those options works, you’ll need to scan your Windows files for any issues or try doing a cleanup of your PC.
