Thanks for this! To assist you better, could you please share a few details?
-Are you using any other mods alongside WeMod?
-Do you see any error messages?
- Just confirming, does the app crash right after you hit Play, even if you’ve started the Steam game beforehand?
- No, not any other mods
- no error message
- when I hit play without turned on game - appears window with message to turn on the game. When I turn on the game and then hit play - after few seconds WeMod turns off.
If you haven’t already, try setting Steam to offline mode, then launch the game from Steam. Once you can move the character in the game, switch to WeMod, click "Play," and then try using the mods again.
Tried that - the same effect.
try to Verify integrity Files by right-clicking on the game and click Properties. Click on the Installed Files. Click on Verify Integrity of Game Files. Then force quit/close the WeMod App then re-launch the apps.
Nothing changed
I pressed for example unlimited essence and WeMod turned off
It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
@past badger I've done this before asking a question.
I even tried to completely turn it off
So it is not Antivirus.
When you mentioned that wemod turned off, does that mean that the wemod crashes?
I don't know it's just turning off
Similar effect to pressing X to close window.
This happened also in other game. I thought that it was a problem with app, so I tried reinstall it - without effect.
Step by step...
Notice that WM icon disappeared from taskbar.

You wrote that earlier August 23rd 2025. I told you that this is not Antivirus - it happens even when it's completely turned @past badger .
@past badger Read our conversation from beginning to end and then write to me how to solve this problem.
@unborn musk maybe you can help? Sephyy is starting to sending me the same solution in spite of the fact that I already tried it and it didn't worked.
Sorry about that, I overlooked the message I just sent. Could you disable the Enable New WeMod Overlay via settings>Customization and check if issue persists?
It looks like it started working, but now, from time to time game turns off. I must check when exactly this happens (I didn't focused on that) then I will knew if it is because of modding with WeMod or bug in game or my computer.
