when i click on a game i get the cookies popup and none of the buttons are working also the "cookie policy" button brings me to a blank page, i tried restarting it and reinstalling it and still the same.

same on my end, all three tried to click and nothing happend. Had to shut down with windows app manager, couse couldnt click nothing

Came here to say this.
A few hours ago, the app just restarted (while sitting idly) and then a cookie consent banner popped up. Why an Electron app would do anything with cookies (apart from maybe API calls) is beyond me, but anyway, can't be closed. No button does anything.
App is unusable right now.

This is how: So, on the site, I managed to log into my account, and in the Privacy section, I saw the "Cookie Preferences" button. It didn’t work instead of showing the preferences, it just took me back to the main page with the web tag https://www.wemod.com/#cookie-preferences-link.
By accident, I made the popup menu in the app behave the same way. I managed to click on a game quickly enough to start playing it, then closed the app but it was still running in the background. I clicked the arrow button in Windows that shows background apps, right-clicked WeMod, and selected "Exit."
However, instead of closing the running executable, the app popped back up (probably because it was running in a game). That’s when I was finally able to press the "Accept Cookies" button.

Nope, removed all cookies and session storage on the website; doesn't upen a cookie consent window for me. The link in privacy settings does nothing at all.

Besides, I have accepted the cookies over a dozen times in the past month... Like almost everytime I launch wemod it asked me to accept them. Before today it aleast used to go away when you choose your preferences...

Uhm. I just restarted the app and spammed the cookie accept button like a hundred times because of a hunch. Window is gone.
@open marsh feels like the consent banner is overlaid over itself many, many times. Might have been mere coincidence though.
