Hi, I thought I’d bring this to your attention. While using driver 577.00. I had 0 issues using the live map with Death Stranding: Directors Cut. But with the latest Nvidia driver update and WeMod’s latest update.

When switching between the live map and then back to the game. I can hear the sound. But there’s no image. But when I alt out of the game to switch to WeMod. The image appears again. As if there’s a conflict going on between WeMod and the latest Nvidia driver.

This also happens while playing oblivion remaster.

#

I can confirm. It’s the latest wemod update causing this issue. I’ve rolled back to the 577.00 driver. I’m facing the same issue when switching out of windows by pressing ALT. Doesn’t happen when WeMod isn’t playing.

It doesn’t persist when WeMod isn’t used. I can toggle between windows folders ext and the game is still fine.

I've also just updated gpu-z, as well as updating hwinfo. This was while playing the game. The issue doesn't persist.

#

it only happens with WeMod's latest update.

#

I'll check out Hogwarts Legacy now.

#

I can also confirm, this issue happens with Hogwarts Legacy, Oblivion: Remaster and Death Stranding: Directors Cut. Only when switching between WeMod and the game. Standalone trainers do not cause this issue.

Apologies for the hassle. Please try to find and remove any WeMod-related files from your PC. Also, delete WeMod from the AppData directory and Squirrel from the temp folder. Then, restart your computer and attempt to reinstall.

Download and install the WeMod offline installer: https://api.wemod.com/client/download

Then try running the installer as an administrator to give it the necessary permissions. See if it helps.

Will do and will report back once tested.

I've DDU'd the Nvidia driver and the AMD igpu driver to stop conflicts between the 2 drivers. I've also completely uninstalled WeMod from appdata and every registry. I reinstalled using your download link. Installed the latest Nvidia driver and tried all 3 games again. The same issue persists. I noticed something. When I first switch back from WeMod to any of the 3 games. I see a purple box in the top left corner of my screen. then the same issue persists. However, I have noticed when pressing ALT to switch to the desktop. The game is running in 1080p, rather than 4k which it was set to before pressing the play button in WeMod.

#

So it's confirmed - 100% a WeMod issue causing the rendering problem.

#

I hope this helps you guys out.

To further add towards this issue. I'm now using the stand-alone trainer from FLiNG. It works fine without any issue. I've now isolated this down to a WeMod issue.

No, the version which you linked me to.

#

Interestingly enough. When I got back into Death Stranding today. This was after I tested WeMod again. My game was running at 1080p. I had to switch back to 4k.

#

If that helps you guys out.

Try these steps as we need to force close the WeMod App.

  1. Close WeMod and launch task manager.
  2. If you haven’t already, expand the task manager window by clicking More Details
  3. Scroll down to the heading labelled Background Processes
  4. Search for all instances of WeMod under this Background Procecesses header. Right-click them and choose End Task
  5. When WeMod is no longer shown, close task manager and re-launch WeMod again.

It could also be graphics card settings. If you know how to use the command line, try launching WeMod.exe using WeMod.exe --disable-gpu

Press Win + R then copy and paste this and press enter

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\WeMod\wemod.exe --disable-gpu

I’ve completely rid wemod from windows. They reinstalled. Nothing I try, resolves this issue.
