Have you tried verifying the game files on Steam? If so, please try launching the game first and wait for it to load completely. Once you can move your character in-game, switch to WeMod, click 'Play', and then try using the mods again.

I tried with the same issue. Maybe because WeMod Launcher cant found the game in steam. I had to insert it manually
