I don't use other mods, the game is official from Ubisoft, and Windows Defender is off

You could try setting Ubisoft Connect to offline mode (menu > Go Offline). Then launch the game, wait until you're fully in and can move around, and open WeMod to hit "PLAY" and activate the mods.
