As the title says, the mod doesn’t seem to work in Dishonored: Definitive Edition. I’ve tried everything restarting my PC, disabling my antivirus, relaunching the game but nothing worked. Just to note, I got the game through Xbox Game Pass.

Well, actually, I think and I’m almost certain that the mod for Dishonored: Definitive Edition doesn’t work with the Xbox Game Pass version. Thanks for your help anyway !

Hey @versed agate, To assist you better, could you please share a few details?

-Are you using any other mods alongside WeMod?
-Do you see any error messages?
-Are the Unlimited Mana, Unlimited Health, Unlimited Oxygen and, Unlimited Elixir mod options not working for you?
-Were you able to activate the mod and it has no effect in-game?

Also, I'm not sure if I need to add the game's .exe file path if that's required, I don't think it will work anyway, because my computer says I don’t have the permissions, even if I try to grant them to myself.
Ah, and if it's not in English, that's normal I have WeMod in French.

If the game was not automatically added on the WeMod app when you hit add game, then you can manually add the .exe file

#

And if you haven't already, try opening the game first. Load your saved game and wait for it to load completely. Make sure you’re fully in the game world before doing anything else. Once you're in the game, go back to WeMod and click the Play button.

Well, as I said, I can't manually add the path to the .exe file. As you can see in the screenshot, it simply tells me I don't have the necessary permissions. Moreover, I found this conversation from someone having the exact same issue as me. The support team told them that the specific trainer works with the Steam version but not the Xbox Game Pass version, and I believe my problem comes from a version incompatibility.

Thanks for the info @versed agate! Just to make sure we’re on the same page, here’s what I’m understanding from your side:

**1. **You can launch the game through WeMod without any problem.
**2. **You can turn the mods on in WeMod, but they don’t seem to do anything in the game itself.
**3.**Since the mods weren’t working, you tried to manually add the game’s .exe file, but you got a permission error from Windows saying you’re not allowed to open it.
**4.**Even after trying to fix the permissions, you still couldn’t add the .exe file.

From how it looks, the real problem doesn’t seem to be about adding the .exe file manually. WeMod already sees the Xbox version of the game, so manually linking it wouldn’t change how the mods work. The main issue here seems to be that the mods aren’t working properly with the Xbox version.

Could you let me know if I got everything right so far? Once we’re sure, I’ll guide you on what we can try next.

Yes, that’s correct. Just one small correction about point '1': I don’t launch the game through WeMod. I launch it directly from the Xbox app.

Got it, thanks

#

If you haven’t already, please make sure to add the game through the Xbox option in WeMod.

#

Try opening the game first through Xbox app. Load your saved game and wait for it to load completely. Make sure you’re fully in the game world before doing anything else. Once you're in the game, go back to WeMod and click the Play button. Then try using the mods again if there's any difference.

I think you're talking about this, as you can see in the screenshot, the Xbox option is already checked. This was done automatically by WeMod

#

Additionally, I found this category on WeMod that lists all games with trainers, which I assume should work with Xbox Game Pass titles, and as I suspected, Dishonored: Definitive Edition isn’t there. Only Dishonored 2 is listed. You don’t need to help me anymore, and don’t worry, the issue definitely comes from this. Thanks again for your assistance
