Hey @jaunty lance, thanks for pointing this out and sorry for the confusion.
Since this feature is still in beta, there are definitely some bugs the team is working through, and inaccurate play time stats appears to be one of the things. We really appreciate you flagging it and bringing this to our attention.
Could you let us know which game this happened with? That info will help us take a closer look and get it sorted out. Also does restarting the app resolve the problem?

Hi! The example I used is with Mortal Kombat I. Restarting the app yields the same results.
