1.Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall WeMod.
2.Find and delete these folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
3.Restart your PC.
4.Reinstall WeMod by downloading from: https://api.wemod.com/client/download

It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod

Does the game offer multiple saves?

Possibly, I first tried an old save from a few years ago, then deleted that one, reinstalled and started a new game with the WeMods enabled, and I've been running the recommended tests off of the autosave.

I'm still using WuChang: Fallen Feathers mods, which are a blessing, for sure. I opened this report for Daymare because four of the most important mods for it aren't working and there's a long discussion history on the site of people pointing it out. I was hoping following the appropriate steps would lead to a solution. But like you said, this game and its mods haven't been updated in years, so if it doesn't work, it just doesn't work. Not a huge deal.

Yes, I did that too. I even tried the older mods to see if maybe they'd work. No deal on any of them, but yes, I was using the most recent one. Easy to spot with, not only the date, but also it has the most mods.

If the testers state it still works on their rigs, though, that would merit some serious re-testing. Maybe it's the Drive I've got it installed on being different from the Drive WeMod is on (C).

That didn't exactly answer your question, sorry. Yes, I mentioned earlier, I uninstalled and reinstalled earlier as it was part of the steps the WeMod toubleshooting recommended. But I'm reinstalling again now. When it finishes I'll try again.

With Wuchan (sorry, it's my only other frame of reference as it's the other game I'm using WeMod with and it's working) I run Play Game from WeMod ran as Administrator. With Daymare, I've tried running it from WeMod, and running it first THEN selecting Play Game from WeMod once it's loaded into the save. I've also tried running the game from the executable as the Administrator.

Yeah, reinstalling didn't work and you were right, it doesn't matter what drive I install it to.

Could you try verifying the game files on Steam first? Go to your Library, right-click the game, then select Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files. Once that’s done, set Steam to offline mode before launching the game.

I've already tried verifying the files as it was part of the app's suggested trouble-shooting, but setting Steam to offline mode is a new one. I'll give that a shot.
