Hello, before posting my problem, I searched the internet, FAQs and others, without any answers. Here it is, when I launched the game the first time, everything was fine until the first village, and when I want to talk to an NPC, the game remains completely blocked. I have to use the task manager or Alt + F4 to exit. The game comes from the Xbox Game Pass. I had the files repaired, but it does not work. Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hey @dim olive To assist you better, could you please share a few details?

-Are you using any other mods alongside WeMod?
-Do you have any antivirus software running, or is Windows Defender currently enabled?

I’m just using Wemod and i’ve just using Windows defender. Maybe it’s because I’m using a free version of the xbox pass ?
It's better if I buy the paid version of Steam?

It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod

  • C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

I had the files repaired after the game update that came out yesterday or the day before. I tried WeMod without overlay and with overlay. And when I teleport to the first dojo where you meet the first monk outside, there are two tents and you can talk to the NPC and once I start the dialogue, the game freezes and it is impossible to do anything, even if I close WeMod. So, I have to use the task manager to exit the game, and even before the update, I had the same problem.

@torpid pewter I don't use any antivirus software by default, I have Windows Defender. If I chat with no NPC or character, I can play without any problem, even for 30 minutes.

My internet connection isn't very fast, but I think the game will be finished downloading by late afternoon today. Please keep this thread open to avoid having to file another ticket.
