No, I currently do not have antivirus or Windows Defender enabled BASED

Thanks for confirming. Mind giving this a quick try? Head to your Steam Library, right-click the game, then go to Properties > Installed Files > and click “Verify integrity of game files.”

Once that finishes, try setting Steam to offline mode and then launch the game to see if that helps.

All my game files have been confirmed, so I put Steam in offline mode and the mods still don't work pepeok

It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:
- C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod
