Grounded - Free Crafting

On 7/14/2025 Free Crafting allowed me to not only craft items at any station, but to also upgrade them freely.

As of 7/15/2025 Free Crafting no longer allows upgrading items or crafting anything from any station other than the Work Bench.

On the 14th I can see in my logs it was running - App version: 10.21.0

On the 15th I can see it was running - App version: 10.22.0, this is when it stopped working, however going back to the previous version did not fix it.

Hi there! Just to clarify—are you able to activate the mods, but they're having no effect in the game?

I can activate them yes, and they work, but the one mod has lost a portion of it's functionality, it only half works now

We totally understand your concern. Although I don’t own the game myself, I wanted to suggest a potential workaround. If the game has a save slot feature, you could try creating a new save game and then attempt to use the trainer to see if it works.

Just tried on a new save file now, same issue

Just ran it on Steam, same issue persisted. Switched to run it on Xbox to test there and got this message. May be the cause? or is this new/unrelated?

We suggest to use the steam trainer since you purchased the game there. Just to make sure we're on the same page, Have you tried launching the game initially and waiting until you can freely navigate within the game world before opening the mods by clicking PLAY on the WeMod app? If that doesn’t work, try launching the game first, and once you are on the main menu, open the mods by clicking PLAY again.

I'll try that now.

But to follow up on my previous post. This morning the Free Crafting was not working on either Steam OR Xbox. It's now working on Xbox, but still not working on Steam.

Hi! Our testing team provided an update and confirmed that the trainer is working as intended. Take note that some items are available in players crafting list, but it needs workbench to be crafted.
