Hello, I don't know if this is the proper place to ask this, but here I go. I am asking about The Oregon Trail for Steam. A few years ago, the game's dev encrypted the game causing many of the older mods (ie Unlimited Money, Max All Char Stats, etc.) became broken and had to be removed. I posted about this on the discussion board but no one (including the mod dev ColonelRVH) has really responded to me in years. I was wondering if it would be possible for there to be an update with those former mods restored? (Just reverting to an old build won't work, I tried.)

Hello! We totally understand your concern, and we appreciate you for supporting wemod for so many years! From what I know, mods/cheats are removed when they disrupt the game, impede progress, or lead to crashes. These particular cheats could be easily detected by the game’s anti-cheat system, frequently resulting in-game crashes and such.
