I have tried with/without admin privileges, reinstalling wemod, verifying game files in steam, disabling Nvidia overlay, etc. Normally when the game launches there's a black DoS "splash screen" that appears for about 1 second, but when launching through WeMod this doesn't happen. Screen "blinks" like it tries it for .1 second and then fails to launch even with all mods and WeMod overlay disabled.
Game still launches successfully through Steam.

No other mods
Can't get to the game menu to attempt to choose anything (But i'm intending to play single-player)

I was successfully launching with overlay previously (like 3 days ago) using zero fatigue, zero suspicion, super carrying capacity, and unlimited run duration. Now I cannot launch the game via WeMod even with ALL of those and the overlay turned off.

When I add the .exe manually I get this error (It also gives this error MUCH more quickly)

WeMod I recently reinstalled from the website today as part of troubleshooting.

Just tried to uninstall and reinstall the game too, didn't change anything.

It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:

C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

Tried it, no change. Tried closing and re-opening WeMod after changes and tried completely turning off Windows Defender too.

Can you try launching the game first on Steam before hitting Play on Wemod?

That worked! I hit play in steam, and then after that black "DoS splash screen" finished it's thing I hit play in WeMod and the overlay works and everything.

And I confirmed that the mods ARE working in the game.
