I have been using WeMod for almost a year. I have been playing the game above while WeMod is active, but up until yesterday, turning on WeMod completely crashes my game. I followed what the virtual assistant asked me to do, except for turning off the firewall for WeMod and allowing WeMod to be ran as Administrator. I do not feel comfortable doing these actions on my computer.

I should mention that when clicking the Play button on WeMod for the game in question, none of the toggles work on the first startup. It was only until the second startup of WeMod that toggles could be pressed... before it decided to just crash on me yesterday.

I want to end this thread by saying I have tried everything in my power to fix the crashing. I have verified the files of the game, uninstalled and reinstalled the game on an SSD instead of the HDD (just in case), uninstalled and reinstalled WeMod, turned off every mod that I had on Shin Ryu Mod Manager, turned off Overlay, updated my graphics drivers, no other heavy applications were on during testing and my game is a legitimate copy from Steam. I even tested WeMod on other games and they run fine, so there must be a problem when WeMod is starting up.

If anyone is able to help, I would gladly appreciate it.

The first three newest versions for the mods do not work/nothing changed. Each time I click the "Play" button, it'll start the game. When I click a toggle, the mod selected will turn on and then force itself off. When I click the "X" on the "Playing" button, it shows me the "We detected that there were problems with some of the mods you tried to use..." window. When exiting out of that window and press the "Play" button for a second time, the game crashes.

TL;DR, older versions didn't change anything

Could you also provide your Build ID? You can find it under the game's properties, similar to what’s shown in this image from a different game.

If I were to fully load the game before starting WeMod, the game would just crash a couple seconds later.
Likely the game just crashes when it detects WeMod. That's why I was starting the game via WeMod, like a metaphorical foot in the door. (Or would that make it a simile?)

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to replicate any issues on our end. It's possible that the game save you're using is corrupted, or from not performing a clean reinstall after removing the mods. We recommend trying a fresh reinstall and testing with a new save file to see if the problem persists.
