REPO 'set currency' not working

Whenever I set my currency and trying purchasing items from the shop it never works. Keeps saying I have insufficient funds.

also the infinite energy SOMETIMES doesn't work. not always but a lot of the time it doesnt work

that's the only thing im confused about

like the speed/jump multiplier work fine all the time
